Drug and Disordered Project
Reflection
In the Drug and Disordered project I contributed by sketching the first brainstorm draft for our board game and collaboratively thinking of an idea, while building off of other ideas. I am really pleased with how our brainstorm came about and how we collectively thought of each component to the project. The first draft design was also the base for the future laser cut board we were destined to make. Then I also typed our project page with a description of our plan and what every partners information was, they should have prepared to teach others at exhibition. I selected to learn about the pharmaceutical medication prescribed to rehabilitation patients for Cocaine addicts, or if there are any for them. I brought facts and information the day of exhibition as well to have as a reference as well, to teach others. There was also the scenarios I helped type and make with my partner Ruby along with other information. I also painted the whole board with Yahaira, which consisted of many hours and patience to finish it. Also it was tedious work to paint the texts and icons, but this consequently gave us a great final product that was appreciated by our peers. I am most proud of the board game that Yahaira and I painted because the board game accumulated a lot of hours, preparation, and a lot of effort. This was because my partners and I knew the type of final product we had envisioned and I can say now that we achieved that quality, along with the great stickers we made that contributed to our idea. I am really proud of the information we incorporated into our board game because when we displayed our game to other teachers and students, they admired the depth of our knowledge and that made us proud. If I did this project again I would not improve anything drastic to our idea because I believe we delivered exactly what we envisioned and I am really happy with how this project ended.
