Exhibiton Reflection
Social Enlighenment
Out of our entire exhibition I am most proud of how cohesive and peaceful it was. The transitions between projects, in my perspective, worked and I believe it was a great exhibition because of the quality of the work everyone made. For example, I knew my sonnet time and what time I was supposed to be on stage and then I knew when to go to Dr.Drew's classroom to present my programmed game for the parents. Overall, I thought the transitioning was properly planned and everyone tried to make an amazing final product that was appropriate for the exhibition's purpose. If we had more time I would only make the walls look better on the back side with more black sheets or material and I would make the black tarps that were draped, more stable. These are minimal changes that many didn't notice. For example, the falling sheets that would reveal the art room walls or the bare backs to the walls at exhibition, but the quality of our work definitely overshadowed it. I contributed any way I could to my specific group and I tried to help everyone memorize lines the day of, help make the play scenes transition smoothly, and be a calm mediator for my group. I definitely wanted to help my group in any way towards my play by helping them practice, but I was in charge/volunteered to be a writer of the sonnet. I also memorized my lines and tried to make the play realistic, but symbolic. I believe my team and I definitely made a good product to display at exhibition because of how much we all helped each other.
For exhibition, I helped out as much as possible. I helped build walls for the room, painted walls a solid color with designs, put up black cloths to mask the art room walls, put up art pieces, and tried to make a professional exhibition for the parents/visitors. I would like to keep in mind cohesive transitions for each classrooms project because without the time's running smoothly, I believe the exhibition would of been stressful, and not as professional. I would also like to keep in mind everyone being a helping hand throughout the exhibition building process because if we didn't have most of our students helping out, we wouldn't have the final product we achieved. A habit of heart I used while preparing for this years all-school exhibition was self advocacy because while I was practicing my play or helping others build the exhibition I believe I was accountable, prepared to present, professional, and of course had a positive attitude throughout exhibition. Also a habit of heart I believe we all worked towards and tried to obtain, because of the exhibitions significance/purpose was cooperation. We all used cooperation because we tried to symbolize and spread the word towards others in our sonnets to support individuals in his or her community, also to contribute to upholding equity, to appreciate diversity, and to exhibit respect for others daily. We wanted to show others how to spread social enlightenment throughout the world.

This was supposed to symbolize the importance of women's rights and how much the world's issues of being a woman could affect a young woman in her room.

Exhibition Visuals |
I had to ensure that every audience member understood what my section of the exhibition was about, that of course tied into the central idea, and also included others art pieces. So, I explained all of the art works significance to any visitor that came.
